DAY 01 DELHI-AGRA |

After breakfast leave for Agra by surface.
A drive of 4½ hrs take you to the Taj city. |

AGRA:
On
the right bank of the River Yamuna, Agra reigns over a
glorious past created by warriors as skilled in art and
architecture as they were on the battlefield. The city’s
historical origins before the Mughal conquest are dim and
it was practically founded by the Mughal Emperor Babur. To
the lover of art and to the traveller seeking the wonders
of India, Agra is the goal of a pilgrimage, its shrines
being the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Arrive in Agra and proceed
straight for your hotel. After wash and change leave for
the sightseeing of Taj Mahal.

tribute : The Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shahjehan
for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Also the Mosque on the
banks of River Yamuna across the Taj Mahal. After Taj
visit Agra Fort, Visit the Palaces in the Fort –
the Anguri Bagh, Golden Pavilions, Khas Mahal,
Diwan-I-Khas, Diwan-I-Am (halls of private & public
audience), which are all splendid examples of Mughal
architecture.

DAY 02 AGRA- JAIPUR |

After
breakfast leave for Jaipur by surface enroute
visiting “FATEHPUR SIKRI”.
Fatehpur Sikri -built
by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due
to scarcity of water. See the graceful building including
the Jama Masjid. Tomb of Chishti, Panch Mahal and other
palaces. After
visiting Fatehpur Sikri, leave for Jaipur.
On
Arrival in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel Trident Hilton.

JAIPUR:
Built
by Sawai Jai Singh, the city of Jaipur is amongst the
first of India’s planned cities. The ancient heart of the
Pink City still beats in its fairy tale palaces; rugged
fortresses perched on barren hills and broad avenues.
Jaipur has a timeless appeal in its colorful bazaars that
delights for its Rajasthan handlooms and trinkets.
Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive
monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the
residence of Maharajas, are worth admiration that makes a
trip to the pink city a memorable one. |

Late afternoon enjoy a
Rickshaw Ride to the colourful bazaar passing
through the rose pink residential and business areas of
Jaipur. Also watch prayer ceremony at famous Birla Hindu
temple.

DAY 03 IN JAIPUR |
|
|
After breakfast leave for
excursion to the Amber Fort, the ancient capital of
the state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of
victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and temple of
Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill on which
the Fort is situated.
Afternoon leave for city
sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace
and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the
Palace of winds. |

JAIPUR - JODHPUR
Later transfer to airport
to connect flight for Jodhpur .

Meeting and
assistance on arrival and transfer to Ajit Bhawan Palace
hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 IN JODHPUR |

After breakfast leave for
the city tour of Jodhpur. |
|
Jodhpur
stands at the edge of the Thar Desert and is the largest
city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. The City is totally
dominated by a massive fort, topping a sheer rocky hill
which rises right in the middle of the town. Jodhpur was
founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rajput clan
known as the Rathores.
The old city of Jodhpur is surrounded by a 10km long wall,
built about a century after the city was founded. It’s one
of India’s more interesting cities. The old capital of
Mandore, five miles (12 kms) from Jodhpur, now has
landscaped gardens surrounding ancient temples and
cenotaphs of the Marwar rulers.

Your
city tour sightseeing tour of Jodhpur includes a visit to
the Mehrangarh fort, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459
when he shifted his capital here from nearby Mandore.
There are palaces, housed within this daunting structure
including the Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit
Jaswant Thada, constructed out of thin sheets of
marble which allow the sun to filter in, was built in the
memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899.

In the afternoon visit the sand dunes of Osian-the
gateway to the Thar Desert-only 60 kms from Jodhpur. Enjoy
the Camal Safari at OSIAN.
Return back
to the hotel and overnight at Ajit Bhawan Palace.

DAY 05 JODHPUR - UDAIPUR |
|
|
After breakfast departure for Udaipur enroute visiting
Ranakpur Temples – built in 15th century,
is famous for its beautiful sculpture and the most unique
are the 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are
similar.
Arrive Udaipur and check-in at the hotel
UDAIPUR Founded
in 1568, by Maharaja Udai Singh, Udaipur rivals any of the
world famous creations of the Mughals. As the capital of
the old Mewar state, it was the only Rajput stronghold to
uphold its Hindu allegiance in the face of Muslim
invasion. |

From the late 16th century, peace
brought about an era of renaissance in the arts and
encouraged the building of beautiful Palaces around the
Lake, which culminated in the City Palace, one of the
largest Palace complexes in the world. The Lake itself is
a romantic setting surrounding the gleaming white |Lake
Palace and the Jag Mandir – a refuge of the rebel Mughal
Prince, Shah Jehan, who soon became the creator of the Taj
Mahal in Agra.

DAY 06 IN UDAIPUR |
|
|
After
breakfast leave for half-day excursion to Eklingji &
Nagda. Eklingji – built for the tutelary deity
of the Maharanas of Mewar with sand stone and marble in
734 A.D. Its 108 temples are enclosed by high walls and
has a pyramidical roof composed of hundreds of knobs.
Later visit Nagada – one of the ancient palaces of
Mewar dating back to the 6th century A.D.
In the
afternoon city tour of Udipur. Your city tour includes
City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan,
a conglomeration of buildings added by successive rulers
in different times, Jagdish Temple, |

located 150
meters north of the entrance to the City Palace. This fine
Indo-Aryan temple was built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat
Singh I and dedicated to Vishnu – Lord of the Universe.
Drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion Ki Bari
