Agra, once
the capital city of the Mughal Empire, is now best known
as the home of the Taj Mahal, created by Emperor Shah
Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. 20,000 men
struggled for 22 years to build this
wonder of the world in white marble and precious stones.
Jaipur, built in 1728 by Maharaja
Sawai Jai Singh II is reminiscent of a time of valour and
chivalry. Jaipurs royal City Palace and the rugged Rajput
citadel of former times, Amber Fort, perched atop an
imposing hill, all add to the irresistible allure that is

Delhi - Agra

Date 23 February 2005 - 0900 hrs)
Leave for Agra by surface. (205 kms., 4 hrs approx.) On
arrival, check-in at hotel. Afternoon : Proceed for a half
day tour to the most extravagant monument ever built to
commemorate the timeless emotion of love - the Taj Mahal.
Also visit the Agra fort.
Agra - Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning : Leave for
Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri by surface. (260 kms., 6 hrs
approx.) On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon : Half
day city tour of Jaipur which will include visits to City
Palace & Museum, Observatory, Hawa Mahal and the bazaars .
Jaipur - Delhi
(Day Friday
Date 25 February 2005)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning : Excursion
to Amber Fort including elephant ride. Afternoon : Leave
for Delhi by surface. (230 kms/5 hrs. approx.) Arrive
Delhi & transfer to airport.
