visit a carpet weaving factory. You will also visit
picturesque Gulmarg. |

DAY 01 DELHI -
SRINAGAR |

Arrive and transfer to your deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake.
Late afternoon enjoy a shikara ride on Dal Lake past
floating vegetable gardens through narrow canals. Also see
a walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demostration.
Dinner and overnight in deluxe houseboat.

DAY 02 SRINAGAR |
|
|
Breakfast. Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting
Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure) built in 1632 A.D. by Asif
Khan, brother-in-law of Jehangir and Shalimar Bagh (Abode
of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan.
All the gardens are on the banks of Dal Lake. Enroute,
visit a carpet weaving factory.

DAY 03 SRINAGAR -
GULMARG |
|
|
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day trip to Gulmarg, the Meadow of
Flowers, 2730 mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms
will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the
best ski slopes and the highest 18 hole golf course in the
world. See Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view
enroute Tangmarg to Gulmarg is breathtaking. Take an
optional short trek to Khilanmarg (about 3 hrs) and take a
sledge ride. Chair lifts for mountain ride are also
available. Enjoy a packed lunch.
